Doris J. Grabhorn, 89, of Newburgh passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was born February 7, 1932 in Yankeetown, IN to the late Walter and Ella (Bradley) Barnett.
She retired from Whirlpool Corporation after 35 years. She was a member of Eastminister Presbyterian Church, Order of the Eastern Star and RHCC.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred H. Grabhorn, and sister, Mary Stevenson in 2020.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Woods, David Grabhorn, and Joan Oldham; grandchildren, Kami Woods of Indianapolis, and Caroline Slevin of Mission, KS; great grandson, Andrew, and nephew, David Stevenson of Evansville.
A Funeral Service will 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 19, 2021 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Rev. Trey Fulkerson, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2021 and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
