Jean Greaves Hendricksen, age 79, returned peacefully to our Heavenly Father on Oct. 28, 2007 in Provo, UT. She was born on Apr. 17, 1928 in Lakeview, UT to Robert Vernon Greaves and Della Karren Andreason.
Barbara married Dewayne William Hendricksen in Evanston, Wyoming on Mar. 8, 1947. Their marriage was solemnized on March 8, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. Barbara was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many of the auxiliaries of the church both on the stake and ward levels including Primary, YW and Relief Society. She served as a service missionary for the Church Membership Dept. She was a Stake and Ward Missionary for many years. She loved to crochet and work in her beautiful yard; but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Barbara is survived by her children, Les Hendricksen (Susan) of Woodland Hills; Kelly Hendricksen (Dian) of Centerfield; Holly Baker (Evan) of Naples; and Kristy Young (Clive) of Syracuse; 23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and her brothers Delbert and Jim. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings Verna Buys, Robert, Gaylen and Bonnie Biedeger.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the North Park 3rd Ward, 1066 West 200 North, Provo. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo.
