Gerald "Jerry" Marshall Reynolds, 67, of Catawba, NC passed away, Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Gordon Hospice House.
Jerry was born November 9, 1953 in New Castle, VA and was the son of the late O. Marshall Reynolds and Virginia Lipes Reynolds. He was a graduate of New Castle High School and Virginia Tech, class of 1976. He was a free and accepted Mason, being a member and past Master of Statesville Masonic Lodge 27. On July 19, 2020 he married Yvonne Walker, who survives and together they were members of Concord UMC in Catawba. He was an avid Va. Tech Hokies Fan, enjoyed playing the piano and was a 4H Congress of Virginia Director of Talent Show for 50 years.
In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by one sister, Jackie R. Taylor (Glenn) of New Castle, VA; one brother, David Allen Reynolds, Sr. (Diane) of Blacksburg, VA; six nieces and nephews, James Scruggs, Randall Taylor (Lori), Dreama Kirby (Dennis), Allen Reynolds (Kristen), Nikki Elaine Reynolds (Chris Miller), Joshua Reynolds and 17 great nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 1:00pm Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Concord United Methodist Church in Catawba, NC. The family will visit with friends following the service.
