Larry Wood, age 78, of Glasgow, died Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born in Austin Tracy on March 6, 1943 to the late Ed Wood and the late Audrey (Graves) Pedigo. Larry was retired from the road department and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea and Germany.
He is survived by his wife Bessie Wood; one son, Timmy Wood of Glasgow; two granddaughters, Whitney Wood of Glasgow and Heather Wood of Bowling Green; six great grandchildren, Jayden Morgan, Lucas Cross, Ryleigh Dicks, Alana Branham, Davin Huffman, and Jaxon Huffman; one sister, Linda Wood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Byron Wood; mother-in-law, Brenda Trivett; daughter-in-law, Amanda Wood Morgan.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 19th at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
