She was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, on March 5, 1938, the second of 4 children born to the late William and Ida Rahskopf. Sharon grew up on the family farm just outside of Aberdeen. She enjoyed 4-H and was involved with all aspects of the farm, she was her dad's right-hand helper and she loved the outside work. Sharon attended the one-room grade school at Happy Valley and graduated from Warner High School in 1956. After graduation, she worked at Bell Telephone as a switchboard operator. She married Leslie M. Keller, Jr on June 21, 1958, and they lived in Aberdeen, Montana, and Idaho before moving to Anchorage, Alaska in the fall of 1964, right after the 9.2 earthquake in Alaska. They enjoyed the great outdoors camping, fishing, and raising their family. Sharon thought it was important to contribute to the community. In Anchorage she helped at the Alaska Crippled Children's, was an Anchor Park Methodist Church Sunday School Teacher, served on the PTA Board of Directors at Williwaw school, and was made an Honorary Member of State of Alaska for Outstanding work for Youth & Community. She also enjoyed baking and sewing, providing Avon, particularly to underserved Alaska Native communities Sharon moved back to Aberdeen in 1972 and became active in the community, raising her family and enjoying her many friends and relatives. In Aberdeen, she was on the YMCA Board of Directors, an active member of First United Methodist Church, and also served on the Aberdeen Community Concert Board. She was very involved in the P.E.O. philanthropic organization. She moved to Colorado Springs in 1985 and worked at Deluxe Checks as a Customer Service Representative receiving multiple awards for her outstanding service and commitment to taking care of their customers. In 2004 Sharon became the Office Administrator for Lacy and Shauna's excavating company until she passed.
