Billy Van Cleve, age 81, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Dougherty Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Floydada. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Billy was born on January 6, 1940 to Ben and June (Murphy) Van Cleve in Crosbyton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Those left to cherish Billy's memory are his wife, Ersie Van Cleve; two daughters, Kelly Van Cleve of Amarillo, and Shelly Martinez and husband Tony of Dougherty; five grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Van Cleve of Plainview and one sister, Rozella Price of McKinney.
