Born in Aalten, Netherlands to Arent Heinen/Heijnen (1824-1862) & Berendina nee Vervelde (1828-1901), both of the Netherlands.

Johanna's father Arent died in 1862 when Johanna was about 1.5 years old, her older sister Maria Gesina Heinen was about 4 years old. -John Vaags Nipe (1881-1957), married Georgeanna nee Norton in 1906. They divorced between 1910-1915 with no known children. John married Myrtle Lurena nee Hedrick in 1918.
-William Alvin Nipe (1887-1960), married Lillian May nee Zane in 1911.
-Ralph James Nipe (1893-1983), married Mary S. nee Vanleer in 1919.
-Earl H. Nipe (1889-1989), married Anna Mae nee Horner in 1924.
-Hulse C. Nipe (1898-1962), married Lucille nee Shoemaker in 1933.

Johanna died 3 years after her husband James, on Apr 18th 1938 in Pedricktown, NJ. She was buried on Apr 21st, with her husband in Pedricktown Friends Cemetery.
Her mother is buried in Lake Park Cemetery, Swedesboro with her step-father Johannes Vaags. Unknown burial location of her biological father, Arent Heinen but it is believed that he died in his home country.
