Paul C Kidd Passes
Away at Hospital

Paul Cleveland Kidd was born June 24, 1889, on the farm five miles north west of Ong. Neb, and passed to his heavenly home Thursday, April 6, 1922, at York, Nebr., at the age of 32 years, 9 months and 12 days.

He grew to manhood in that vicinity and in 1911 he was united in marriage with Miss Olive Robinson. Four children blessed this union , three sons and one daughter. the oldest, Lawrence, died at the age of four years.

On Saturday, April 1st Paul underwent an operation for appendicitis, the surgeons giving very little hope of recovery and although for two or three days he seemed to be rallying, the sequel proved their fear was well founded.

Besides his wife, two sons and one daughter, he leaves his father, John Kidd of Ong; two brothers, Russell of Omaha and Clarence, who lives with his father on the old homestead; one sister, Mrs. Melvin Lindgren of Ong, and a foster brother, Jimmie of Omaha. There is also a large circle of relatives and many friends who will miss him greatly.

Mr. and Mrs. Kidd belonged to the Methodist Church at Ong and the pastor, Rev Paul Peterson, conducted the service at his late home on Sunday afternoon, April 9, at one o'clock. The Scripture lesson, Psalms 121, and the text, 2 Cor. 12:9, were of Paul's own choosing.

Interment was made in the cemetery at Edgar and a remarkably long procession wended its way thither. Paul had no enemies and all extend their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved.
