She was born in Union County on January 22, 1945, the daughter of the late Claude and Dallie Price.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Lynda Lu Johnston and by her brothers, Donald Lee Price and Boyce Wilson Price.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Joe Moore; her children, David Calvin Moore (Liz), Karen Jo Moore Eason (Louis) and Jesse Stephen Moore; her grandchildren, Lauren Jo Mercer (David), Megan Marie Eason, Shannon Leigh Eason, Kristen Judy Eason, Seven Jonah Moore and Addison Faith Eason; her great-granddaughter, Aspen Jo Mercer and by her sister, Claudette Ross.
Judy retired from Carolina's Medical Center's Dental AHCE Department after 25 years and was a Dental Radiology Instructor through UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and worked as a Surgical Assistant with Dr. Steve Patty at Union Oral. She loved her church family, spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She loved to serve her community and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 3:00pm Sunday April 18, 2021 at Lee Park Baptist Church. A service to celebrate her life will begin at 3:00pm in the church Worship Center. Interment will follow in Wingate City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Lee Park Baptist Church Building Fund. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the Moore family.
