The Racine (WI) Journal, Sat. June 11, 1921, Page 9: "Oliver E. Blanchfield, aged 64 years, died this morning at St. Mary's hospital after a prolonged illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Roeschen Blanchfield; two daughters, Mrs. Lucy Angel, of Chicago, and Miss Grace Blanchfeild, of Necedah, Wis.; three sons, Edward, of Merrill, Fred, of Wisconsin Rapids, and Oliver, of Milwaukee; six grandchildren and eight stepchildren, besides many other relatives. The body was taken to the Beffel funeral parlors, 610 Sixth street and on Monday afternoon will be taken to the late home, 1612 Packard avenue. The time and place of the funeral will be announced later."
