Mr. Kenneth Doyal Newman, age 80, of Hiram, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Newman was born on June 7, 1940 in Hiram, Georgia to Mr. Charlie Newt Newman and Mrs. Annie Mae (Purser) Newman. He was married to Mrs. Ann Smith (Key) Newman for 18 years. He was a 1958 graduate of Hiram High School. Prior to his passing, he worked for many years with Mac Tools. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and relaxing with his best 4-legged friend, Razor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Newt (Annie Mae Purser) Newman, his brother, Mr. Charles Newman, Jr. and his sisters, Mrs. Alma Newman Holland, Mrs. Thelma Newman Clay, Mrs. Florence Newman Morris and Mrs. Pauline Newman Davis.
Mr. Newman is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Ann Newman; his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Kyle (Dorinda) Freed; his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. David (Sheryl) Bowen; his stepson, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Chet (Renee) Key; his stepdaughter, Mr. and Mrs. Brad (Stephvanie)Turner; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his best four-legged friend, Razor; nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside Services for Mr. Newman will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 2:00 P.M. at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Dr. Wayne Meadows officiating.
The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers, Mr. Barry Ragsdale, Mr. Keith Davis, Mr. Alan Davis, Mr. Tom Baxter, Mr. Chris Holland and Mr. Jeffrey Morris. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Dale Morris, Mr. Doug Morris and Mr. Larry Holland. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 11:00 AM - 1:30 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
