Anna Estelle (Campbell) (Jarrell) Regan was born on February 2, 1895 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, and she was the daughter of Millard Fillmore Campbell (1856–1905) and his wife Anna (Hooper) Campbell (1861–1929).

She was married 1st in 1912 to Owen Jackson Jarrell (1893–1976), and he was the son of Charles Wesley Jarrell and Pearle Kate (Pearson) Jarrell. Anna and Owen were divorced in 1930, and she was married 2nd in 1940 to Raymond Eugene Regan (1901–1940), the son of Eugene Regan and Josephine (Ward) Regan. Raymond died on May 21, 1940 in an auto accident and was buried - somewhere - in Nashville.

A member of Belmont Methodist Church and living at Imperial House Apartments in Nashville, Anna was 70 years old and a widow when she died April 20, 1966 in a local hospital.

She was preceded in death by her son Randall Jarrell, who was a noted poet and one of the famed Vanderbilt Fugitives. Survivors included her son Charles Campbell Jarrell in Paris, France, sisters Mrs James W Napier of Nashville and Mrs E A Godddard at West Palm Beach, Florida and three grandsons.

Funeral Services were held on April 22nd at Cosmopolitan Funeral Home, and burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville.
