Patricia O'Donnell Gable, 85, of Allentown, formerly of Slatington, died January 15, 2011 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Born in Ft. Preble, Portland, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Col. Robert O'Donnell and Mary (Dunn) Kline.

She was employed as the Manager of Spiegel Catalog Stores in Allentown and Easton. She retired as bookkeeper for Thomas Armbruster, Contractors. She was last employed at Nazareth Stained Glass. Pat was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Allentown, where she was on church council and served six terms as its President and also, was a volunteer secretary. She was a member of the Girl Scouts and served as leader of Brownie Troop #75, Slatington.

Survivors: Daughter, Mary Ann Gable; son-in-law, Richard Hengstenberger; grandchildren, Ryan and his fiancee, Nicole and Erin; greatgrandchildren, Jaden, Anissa, Tatiana and Isabella. She was predeceased by a daughter, Judith Hengstenberger; and brothers, Lt. Robert W. O'Donnell, Jr., and Col. Neil J. O'Donnell.

Services: Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Allentown. No calling hours. Interment will be private. Arrangementsby Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
