Bill Osborne was born July 17, 1923 in Rudy, Arkansas to parents, William Earnest Osborne and Adell Lorraine (Tye) Osborne. He passed away August 21, 2002 in Garland, Texas.

He was the second of nine children. At just seventeen years of age he joined the U.S. Army. He served during World War II in Europe. He helped liberate Dachau Concentration Camp in Germany which earned him a Bronze Star.

Bill worked thirty-six years for Western Electric. He was very active in C.W.A. for over fifty years. He was a member of VFW Post 6796 and was a Mason. He was a volunteer for the Garland Little League. He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Garland.

Survived by his wife of fifty years, Joyce, his sons, Jerry, David and Stephen, his grand children, three brothers, two sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Services will be August 24, 2002. Interment to follow in Restland Memorial Park at Restland Funeral Home...RFH
