Mary Evelyn Stowers, 84, of Little Rock passed away Saturday, July 27, 2002. She was born October 30, 1917, to C.E. and Addie Edds.
Preceded in death by her husband, Dan Stowers, she is survived by her son, Dan and his wife, Sue; grandchildren, Mike Stowers and his wife, Sarita, Chris Stowers and his wife, Laurie Jo, Marti Dush and her husband, Dwayne; greatgrandchildren, Brett and Lukas Dush; and a brother, Ed Edds and his wife, Jean; and a sister-in-law, Billie Edds.
Mrs. Stowers was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church.
A gathering in her memory will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2002, at the Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, July 29, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, 4823 Woodlawn, Little Rock, Ark., 72205; or Hospice Foundation of Arkansas, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, Ark., 72114.
