Helen Frances (Kelly) Webb was born in Ralston, Oklahoma on May 30, 1940 to Lawrence W.T. Kelly, Sr. and Elisabeth May (Henderson) Kelly and passed into the loving arms of Jesus on April 9, 2021. She had broken her leg the day before and with the surgery, her loving heart could not sustain.
She loved her school life, playing basketball with the Ralston Tigers and hanging with her many friends. She still talked with many of her friends daily.
Helen married Bobby "Dayton" Webb on June 20, 1958 and together they lived in a few different towns while he worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. Their final move was to Perry, Oklahoma. They built the home of their dreams and remained there until Dayton was hospitalized, when Helen moved to Oklahoma City to be close to Dayton. She lived with their daughter, and care giver, Sara Elisabeth Webb.
Helen worked with Dayton in their business, Bethlyn Trucking Company, for many years until Helen was appointed as Secretary of the Noble County Election Board and served in that position for many years, loving every minute of it. She truly loved all the people of Perry and Noble County.
Helen is survived by her son Roger Lynn Webb, Perry and daughter, Sara Elisabeth Webb of Oklahoma City, her grandsons, Kelly B. Webb and wife Candace and Rayden "Dean" Webb and wife Kaitlyn. The joy of her life, great grandchildren, Wade, Brooks, Grey, and Hattie May Webb and a little girl on the way. Also survived by many young people that lived with them for a while, off and on, which she called her "chosen children" and now their children and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Mr. Kelly Webb and Brother Sam Dyer officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in the Glendale Community, beside her husband.
Pallbearers will be: Kelly Webb, Rayden Webb, Billy Vaughn, Buddy Vaughn, Nicholas Vaughn, Izaiah Hidalgo-Cline, Casey Vaughn, and David Yates.
Viewing will be from Noon until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
