Joseph is survived by his wife, Janice Little Dog; children, Mona (Lyle) Little Dog-Ferguson, June (Duane Pourier, Jr.) Little Dog, Derek (Atalya) Little Dog, Ron Little Dog, Jeff Little Dog, Joseph M. Little Dog, Jr., Bobby Little Dog, Tyler Clifford, Lance Black Tail Deer, Shan Little Dog, Donna Little Dog, and Terrance Little Dog; sisters, Betty Little Dog, Dolores Little Dog, Anna Little Dog-Steele, and Joyce Little Dog; brothers, Timothy Little Dog, Howard "Ben" Little Dog, Chris Eagle Hawk, and Nathan "Nat Dog" Ghost; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
