When he was quite young the family moved to Illinois. In Morrison, Illinois he was united in marriage to Isabelle Stanleyon September 10, 1884. To this union was born two sons, Earl and Harold.
In 1885 Mr and Mrs Bidlack moved to Crawford, county, Iowa where they spent the next 70 years. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1940 and a grandson two years later. Surviving are two sons, Earl and Harold of Manilla, three grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs Hal Cadwell and Mrs Roy Heiman of Manilla and Russell Bidlack of Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was a member of the Methodist church for many years.
Funeral service were held at the Methodist church in Manilla Saturday afternoon with Rev. Richard Rowe officiating. Burial was in the Nishnabotna cemetery. Pallbearers were Claude McMullen, Everett Quick, George Machumber, Harry Barrow, W.L. McMullen and Orval Maloy.
