Ruth married Thomas Turner on October 17, 1959 and he preceded her in death.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Charles and Glen "Bud" Davisson, and sister Hazel Spencer.
She was a member of the French Lick American Legion. Ruth worked as a nursing assistant in Illinois for several years and was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed dancing, bingo, taking rides in the evening, and spending time with family.
Survivors include: Sons: James Turner, Southern Florida, Ronald Turner, Terre Haute, Indiana, Daughter: Lynn (Jim) Grimes, Paoli, Indiana, Nancy Flashman, Indianapolis, Indiana, 9-Grandchildren and 13-Great-Grandchildren .
Cremation was chosen. Private graveside to be held at a later date. Burial Jones Cemetery.
