Kenneth LeRoy Ray, Jr., age 62, of Washta, IA, died at his home on April 12, 2021.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Quimby Baptist Church in Quimby, IA, with Pastor Dan Barnes officiating. Visitation with family present will be 5-7pm on Friday at the church. Visitation will resume 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday. Services have been entrusted to Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen, IA.

Kenneth was born on May 19, 1958, to Kenneth and Clarsie (Holloway) Ray. He lived in Washta for the majority of his life, with a short stay in Northern California. He graduated from Willow Community Schools in 1976.

Kenneth married his wife, Jacquelyn Rienfeld, on May 22, 1976.

He worked various jobs, including construction, IBP, Wilson's, Jerry's Tree Service, and Lundell Sanitary Services.

Kenny, in his younger years, liked to participate in Demo Derbies, work on cars, and coach adult-league softball. He enjoyed watching football and NASCAR, and he loved Batman.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn; daughters, Casandra (Jeremy) Guttau, Jessica Green, and Christi Carstens; brother, Kevin (Alma) Ray; sisters-in-law, Sherri Ray and Jeanette (Kevin) Smith; brother-in-law, Rodney (Jayme) Rienfeld; grandchildren, Dylan, Audrey, Anthony, and Clarsie Simmons, Cierra and Ethan Guttau, Frankie Allender, Bailey and Drake Carstens, Keegan and Taylor Coffman, and Lily Green; and many extended "kids" whom he loved very much.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Clarsie Ray; father-in-law, Myrl Rienfeld; mother-in-law, Betty Rienfeld; and brother, Kirk Ray.

Casket bearers will be Cody Ray, Dillon Ray, Nathan Ray, Garrett Ray, Francis Flewelling, and Kyle Phipps.
