Laura Webb Hodges, 95, of Prosperity School Road, Rock, WV, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA.

Born on February 13, 1926 in McComas, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Elsie Stone Webb. She was a lifelong resident of Windmill Gap and was a member of the Crane Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Dale Hodges; a grandson, Robert Dale Hodges; sister, Evelyn Gillenwater; and brother and sister in law, Everett and Lucille Webb.

Survivors include her son, Anthony (Tanya) Hodges; daughter, Diane (Larry) Wellman; and daughter in law who she thought of as a daughter, Yana Hodges; 10 grandchildren, Ariel Hodges, Nancy Lewis, Anthony Hodges, Jr., Courtney Altizer, Brittany Jennings, Brice Hodges, Paula Wellman, Stephen Wellman, Katie Pack and Frankie Hodges; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and a lot of other family members.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Stephen Wellman officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with grandchildren and great grandchildren serving as pallbearers.
