Graveside services were held at 11:00 am Tuesday October 30, 2007 in Rankin Cemetery. Arrangements were under direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

Johnny was born on May 7, 1958 in Brownfield, Texas. He was a Army Vetern, serving in the Vietnam Era; and he was a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife, Irene May of Rankin: three daughters, Chantelle of Rock Springs, TX, Kristi and Amy both of Orlando, FL; three brothers, James May of Odessa, Jerry May and Jesse Leon May, both of Beeville, TX; two sisters, Jodie and Genny both of Pryor, OK; and 8 grandchildren.
