On the afternoon of April 10th, 2021, Jesus lovingly carried Tracy Leanna Martin, 39, to her new home in Heaven. There to greet her was the man who taught her to hunt and fish and who she has been missing since December of 1998, her Dad, Dale L. Martin. Also joining them were her maternal grandparents Walter and Fern Myers, fraternal grandparents J. Earl and Ruth Martin, aunts Joanne Dunning and Carol Mummert, uncles Wayne and Larry Martin, cousins Phillip Martin and Bob Raker.
Tracy was the office manager at Ward's Truck and Farm Repair, Mercersburg, PA and a former employee at APX Enclosures, Mercersburg, PA.
Along with being his work partner, Tracy was a life partner to Eric Keefer and Mom to their daughter Reannen Keefer and son Charlie Keefer. She also was pack leader to Kaiser, Cypress and Mickey Brown.
Tracy enjoyed spending time on her big front porch with family and friends, playing her music, watching for thunderstorms, raising animals, plants, nature, making things with her hands and customizing her vehicles that announced her arrival in her own special way.
Tracy's immediate family who love and miss her dearly are her mom Pam Witmer of Greencastle, Heather Yakicic of St. Thomas, Niece Madalenn Yakicic of Greencastle, nephew Daniel Yakicic of Greencastle, aunt and uncle Penny and Mike Swomley, cousins Shayna Nasuta, Tyler Barr and their families, aunt and uncle Steve and Linda Peiffer, cousins Karin Andrews, Stacy Batistig and their families, aunt Darlene Martin, cousin Terry Martin, Aunt Linda Martin, cousins Tim, Scott and Randy Martin and their families, uncle Dave Mummert, cousins Amanda Penwell and Adam Mummert and their families, cousins Tammy Stull and Melissa Bowen. In Tracy's short life she made many friends. Far too many to mention by name but she cared deeply for each one.
Her family has made arrangements as Tracy would have wanted. She was someone who did not like a lot of attention on herself. She enjoyed simple and relaxing gatherings with a little country charm. To honor her there will be no viewing or indoor service. A Celebration of her Life will be held at their home, 386 Bear Valley Road, Ft. Loudon, PA on Saturday, April 24, 2021 starting at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are asked to bring chairs for your outdoor seating.
Tracy was a beautiful young lady with a kind soul and spirit. Her life on this earth wasn't long enough for those of us who are blessed to have been apart of it. She packed it full of memories for each of us. If you keep your eyes to the sky, listen for the rumble of thunder and when the lightening lights up that sky big and bright, you'll know she is nearby. Bye for now Lil One, we all love you!
