Born in Grundy, VA, she was the daughter of the late Hufford and Orpha (Payne) Rife.
She was a longtime resident of Buchanan County and was a member of Harman Memorial Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker. Shirley enjoyed sewing, cooking and traveling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Moscoe Belcher; Son: Hufford Bart "Bill" Belcher and Brother: Taylor Rife.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Daniel (Lisa Diane) Belcher of Grundy, VA, Steven (Donna Sue) Belcher of Grundy, VA, Trula Jane (Jeff) Wood of Fincastle, VA; Grandchildren: Nicholas Ryan (Chelsea) Belcher, Steven Jacob Aaron Belcher, Jeremiah Andrew Belcher, Heather Alanna (Larry) Williams, Jeffrey Wood II, Sheena (Matthew) Hubbard; Great-Grandchildren: Emberly Jane Williams, Aubrey Hubbard, Evie Hubbard, Basil Hubbard, Charlie Hubbard, Alex Hubbard; Sisters: Barbara Horne of Abingdon, VA, Trula Thomas of Bluefield, VA.
Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for HAZEL MARIE "SHIRLEY" BELCHER will be conducted Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shea Shrader and Dr. Danny Hess officiating with burial to follow in the Belcher Family Cemetery on Walnut Hollow, Harman, VA.
Active Pallbearers will be Steven Belcher, Jeremiah Belcher, David Clevinger, Rusty Clevinger, Nick Belcher, Jeffrey Wood and Johnny Belcher.
