Ralph Biggerstaff Dies At Home Here Early Wednesday

Ralph Biggerstaff, 67, a native of Fannin county, died at his residence, 812 West 10th Street, at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday morning following an illness of five months.
A native of Fanin [sic] county, Mr. Biggerstaff had engaged in farming south of Bonham until last year when failing health caused him to retire and move to Bonham to make his home. He was taken seriously ill some five months ago.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kate Biggerstaff, Bonham; four sons, R.G. Biggerstaff, Bonham; Parnell Biggerstaff, Randolph; Darrell Biggerstaff, Bonham; Lynwood Biggerstaff, U.S. Army enroute home from Tokyo; two brothers, Hubert Biggerstaff, Lubbock; and John Biggerstaff, Abernathy; six daughters, Mrs. C.E. Bruton, Bronte, Texas; Mrs. Opal McCord, Bonham; Mrs. A.C. Reynolds and Mrs. Jack DeVord, both of Sherman; Mrs. Paul Wright, Denison; and Mrs. B.C. Evers, Odessa; eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. with the Waldo Funeral Home at Sherman, directing.
He was born Feb. 13, 1879 in Fannin county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Biggerstaff. He was married to Miss Katie Jones in 1899 in Randolph.
