Daniel Eugene Ledbetter, age 59, of Quincy, died Sunday, April 11, 2021, at 9:25 pm in Blessing Hospital.

Daniel was born August 10, 1961 in Quincy, Illinois. Daniel was raised by his aunt and uncle, Lillian and Ralph Decker. He married Diana Hovey on October 30, 1993 in Quincy. She survives.

Daniel honorably served in the United State Army. Daniel was an outdoorsman and a firearm enthusiast who enjoyed camping and hiking. Most of all, he loved barbecuing and spending time with family and friends at cookouts.

In addition to his wife, Diana, survivors include his daughter, Danica Ledbetter and his step-son, Christopher Bartz, both of Quincy.

Daniel was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Lillian and Ralph Decker.

Graveside Services: 1:00 pm Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Quincy Memorial Park, with Rev. Tony Metz officiating.

Inurnment: Quincy Memorial Park, Quincy, Illinois. Military Honors will be provided by Quincy American Legion Post 37 and the United States Army Funeral Honors Detail.
