Aaron James Abbott, 29, Carthage, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at his home. Aaron was born December 20, 1982 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; the adopted son of David Earl Abbott and Esther Juanita (Hudson) Abbott. Aaron was a graduate of Carthage Senior High School, Class of 2001 and attended Crowder College, Webb City, for one year. He married Amber Nicole Stoops on March 25, 2005 in Carthage; she survives. Aaron was a clerk for TECI, Joplin, where they manufacture turbine engines.

Additional survivors include; three children, Bradon, Kaydence and Brooklyn Abbott of the home; three sisters, Stephanie Rickard, Grace Miranda (Tim) Sinkuler,and Wendy Abbott, one brother, Trent Gibson, his mother, Laura Willis; his foster parents, Charles and Debbie Johnson, maternal grandmothers, Juanita Hudson, and Patricia Alton, paternal grandmother, Joan Abbott, sisters-in-law Megan and Hailey Williams, Carthage and Gina Ortiz, brothers-in-law, Bruce Stoops, and Blake Stoops, four nieces, Maci Abbott, Allie Nguyen, Kali and Katie Rickard; mother-in-law, Cindy Williams and father-in-law, John Williams.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 7:00 PM, Friday, May 25, at Knell Mortuary, Carthage, MO, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM. Minister Shadron Ekhoff will officiate. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Aarron Abbott family, Amber, Bradon, Kaydence and Brooklyn. Private family interment will be held at a later date.
