Shirley Alyn Garland Black, 75, of Indiana, Pa., passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at IRMC in Indiana, Pa.
She was born on Wednesday, June 27, 1945 in Greensburg, Pa., the daughter of the late Louis and Agnes Mae Womer Garland.
Before her retirement, she worked for Verizon in Telemarketing. She was a Born Again Christian who enjoyed reading the bible. She enjoyed playing solitaire, watching action movies and comedies and reading and loved animals especially her cats. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Paula Love and her husband, Rick and Sheley Curry (Shawn Collins); her grandchildren, Alissa Nelson and her husband, Derek, Douglas Bender, Kelsie Bender, Kaylie Bender, Kleo Curry, Christopher Collins and her sister, Janet Bender and her husband, Jack.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Harriet Lasker.
Interment will be held at Ridgeview Cemetery in Elders Ridge, Pa.
