Patricia Ann Holmes, 84, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 10, 2021, peacefully in her sleep.

She was born on October 30, 1936, in Charleston, to the late Homer "Bus" and Lulah Ice.

Patsy was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and attended Brigham Young University Class of 1954. She retired from Austin Insurance Agency where she was an insurance agent. She was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. Patsy loved her West Virginia Mountaineers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to many and will be deeply missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Shauna Stowasser and Suzanne Bologna; her former husband, Charles Holmes; and her grandson, Douglas Edward Stowasser.

Patsy is survived by her sister, Carole Willis of Redlands, CA; grandsons, Samuel Stowasser II and wife Jennifer of Hurricane, Andrew Stowasser of Charleston, Matthew Bologna of Pittsburgh, PA, Chase Bologna of Barboursville; great grandson, Samuel Stowasser III of Hurricane; great granddaughter, Emma Stowasser of Hurricane; and special cousins, Jeannie and Jerry Patton of Nitro.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 16, in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes, in the West Virginia Chapel, with Mark Atkinson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in care of Keller Funeral Home, to assist with arrangements, PO Box 268, Dunbar, WV 25064.
