Janet M. Boarman Potter Williams, 59, of Lusby, MD passed away on April 5, 2021 at Calvert Health Medical Center.
Jan was born in LaPlata, MD on November 12, 1961 to the late Leonard and Mary Boarman.
She is survived by her daughter, Erin Potter of Lusby, MD; sisters, Linda Garvey of Kingsley, MI and Peggy Estevez of Pomfret, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jan enjoyed a 35-year career at Calvert Health Medical Center, formerly Calvert Memorial Hospital, where she worked in numerous departments over the years. She touched many lives, both patients and coworkers, during her time there. She enjoyed antiquing, yard sales, and spending time with her daughter. Jan was a remarkable woman and will be remembered for her constant resilience, determined spirit, heart of gold, sharp humor, and endless strength. She was loved so very much and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Services will be held at St. Mary's Newport Catholic Church on Friday, April 16. Visitation will begin at 10AM followed by a funeral mass at 11AM. Online condolences may be shared with the family at arehartechols.com.
