John Bradford Grant, 65, or Anderson, joined his son in heaven on April 10, 2021.
He was born July 9, 1955, in Anderson, the son of Tom Grant and Janie (Nodine) Clevenger.
He was a Madison County Deputy Sheriff for 20 years. He was a member of Chesterfield Christian Church; Daleville Masonic Lodge # 730; the Highland Marching Band; S.A.L. and the American Legion Post 408.
John is survived by his father, Tommie Lee (Nancy) Grant; his mother, Janie (Nodine) Clevenger and his aunt, Lou Robinson (Burt Martin); two granddaughters, Madison and Molly Grant; siblings, Tonya E. Grant and Shelly (Mike) Stephens; and two nephews, Grant and Bryce Stephens; many cousins; special friends, Tim Bruce of Georgia; Bob Baldwin of Anderson his beloved dog, Max and cat, Moses.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jason, his second dad, Keith Clevenger; grandparents, Willard and Pauline Nodine; Max & Helen Fuqua; uncles, Roger Nodine and Willie Robinson.
Services will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Chesterfield Christian Church, with Pastor Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
