Janice Morgan, age 80, of McHenry passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Journey Care in Barrington IL, surrounded by her loving family.

Janice was born on January 25, 1941 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Albert and Ann Carlson.

Janice is survived by her children: Mark Morgan, Dawn Morgan, Donna Morgan, and Derk Morgan, as well as her sister Joyce Kitzman; grandchildren: Kent Pleva, Chad Pleva, Anne Boring, Krystina Morgan, Amber Turcotte, Jeff Hodge, Robert Morgan, Joseph Morgan; great-grandchildren:Owen Pleva, Gwenyth Pleva, Ginger Pleva, Kane Pleva, Alexander Turcotte, and Paisley Turcotte.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Albert and Ann Carlson, sister Joan Carlson, former husband Robert P. Morgan, and cousin Jackie Tackaberry.

Janice was a proud member of the Red Hat Society for 5 years. She retired from Coil Craft in Cary after working for 25 Years . She was known for making the best cookies ever. She will always be remembered as an extremely loving person to her children, pets, and friends.
