Mrs. Martin went by several names, such as daughter, mother, sister, friend, but the one name that she loved going by the most, was Granny. Anyone that knew Mrs. Martin, knew she loved her family, but loved her grand babies with her whole heart. Mrs. Martin was a sweet and loving soul, with a kind spirit, that never met a stranger. Mrs. Martin is proceeded in death by her parents, Buford and Sallie Mae Crutchfield Jones; her husband Ray Martin; two sisters, Lou McCall, and Judy Lands; one brother, Toby Jones; her son, Darryl Bankston, and The Love of Her Life, Mr. Dick Evans
Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughter, LaJuana (Keith) Reid of Byrneville FL; one brother Barnie (Sharon) Jones of Byrneville FL; one sister, June (Larry) Edwards of Pace, FL; four grandchildren, Michael (Liz) Jacobs, of Dallas, TX, Melissa (Cody) Warrick, of Gun Barrel City, TX, Tori (Joe) Brown of Chumuckla, FL, Blake Reid of Jay, FL; and nieces, nephews, countless other family members and friends that dearly loved her.
A Memorial service will be held in Jessie Elizabeth Martin's honor on Saturday, April 24th, at Poplar Dell Baptist Church in Byrneville, FL at 11 AM.
