Mrs. Esther Hart, 78 of West Main Street, Berryville, died Monday in the Winchester Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hart was born on May 27, 1894, in Clarke County, daughter of the late Lewis and Elizabeth Greenwalt Stolle. She was the widow of James Frank Hart.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dolly H. Enders of Berryville; a sister, Mrs. Barbara Howell of Berryville; a brother, Herbert Stolle of Washington, D.C.; six grand-children; and two great-grand-children.
A funeral service will be conducted today (Thursday) at 11 a.m. at the John H. Enders Funeral Home by the Rev. Roy Taylor. Pallbearers will be Cyrus Pine, William Clevenger, Maurice Wisecarver, Edward Wisecarver, Robert Galloway, and Russell Roberson. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the John H. Enders Rescue Squard.
