Alan Dale Allbright age 69, of Shoals, passed away at his residence on April 10, 2021. He was born in Washington, Indiana on October 3, 1951, to Roger and Mildred (Walton) Allbright. He married Ruth Ann Crowder on June 1, 1973 at the Shoals United Methodist Church.

He was a 1969 Graduate of Shoals High School, was a retired School Bus Driver for Shoals Community Schools and previously built log homes.

"Dale" was an active member of The Shoals Church of the Cross where he enjoyed playing in the Praise Band, drove the bus for many community events and enjoyed traveling, especially to visit family in North Carolina, and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann; one brother, Ronald (Shelley) Allbright of French Lick; one sister, Angela (Richard) Sanders of Shoals; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private service with his family will be held at a later date with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery. The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements.
