Flora Mae Baker, age 77 of Knoxville, TN passed away Sunday April 11, 2021. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Flora worked at U.T. for many years spreading love, joy, and Jesus to all. She loved old time gospel hymns and held strong to her faith in God all her life. Flora also loved to sing and play guitar, but most importantly she loved all her babies, big and small. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Harold Baker; daughter, Angie Gail Baker; granddaughter, Lora Baker; sisters, Mary, Ada Baker, Bobby Sue Burchell, and Wilma; brothers-in-law, Glen Brewer, and Herman Graves; and parents, Gene and Mary Juanita Burchell.

Her survivors include: sons, Tim Baker and wife Teresa, William Baker, and Michael Baker; grandchildren, Tiffany, Timmy, Chris, Amber, Jayla, Abby, Charlie, Flo, Timothy, Michael, Gracelynn, Trinity, and Tyson; sisters, Jenny Graves, and Gail Stinett; brother-in-law, Billy Baker; and extended family, George Baker, Wayne and Angie Wyrick.

Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in Atchley's Seymour Chapel. Interment 10 AM Thursday at Mount Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour. Per county mandate and COVID guidelines face coverings are required and social distancing observed. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour.
