Burlington - James (Jim) Redding, 80, Burlington, passed away April 11, 2021, at Great River Hospice House.

Jim was born April 23, 1940, in Beardstown, IL, to James and Charlene (Settles) Redding. He was raised in the Rushville, IL area.

In 1958 he, along with his family, moved to Tucson, AZ. He graduated from Catalina High School. While living in Tucson he worked as a motorcycle mechanic
and machinist.

On June 12, 1965, he married Marcia Siegfried in Tucson.

Moving to Burlington in 1977, he owned Redding Products where he manufactured and marketed his own product line, which included tools for the machine shop
industry and small bicycle parts.

He is survived by his wife, two brothers, David and Stephen, of Tucson and nieces and nephews.

As per his wishes there will be no services. Cremation is being accorded by Iowa Cremation.
