Debra was born in Michigan to the late Joseph and Florence Jagodzinski.
Debra was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Swannanoa. She dedicated her life to her family, loving selflessly and bringing joy to each of them. In her presence, you would always find a warm welcome, chocolate brownies, and laughter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, William "Bill" James; Her three daughters, Jessica Inglee (Preston), Sarah James, Rachel James Gant (Hunter) and son, Joseph James. Among her greatest joys are her seven grandchildren, Michael, Madeline, Max, Ana, Alexis, Owen, and Eli.
Mrs. James will lie in repose for anyone who wishes to pay their respects at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary being observed at 7:30 pm.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 14 at 12:00 pm at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Swannanoa. Burial will follow at Sky View Memorial Park.
