Wilhelmina K. Johnson, age 94, of Grand Haven passed away Friday, December 29, 2006, at a local care facility. She was born August 19, 1912, in Robinson Township to Emil William and Katarina (Gross) Bethke. She married Stewart Johnson who preceded her in death on November 2, 1996.

Wilhelmina was a lifelong resident of Grand Haven and had been employed at Camfield's. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and quilting.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Dale) Vink of Nunica; 2 sons: Robert (Kim) Johnson of Liverpool, NY, and David (Barbara) Johnson of McWilliams, AL; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are a brother, Arnold (Garnetta) Bethke; a sister-in-law, Dorothy (Edward) Bethke; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James, in 1998; 3 brothers: George, Carl, and Edward; 2 sisters: Emilie Ott and Charlotte Plougman; and a grandson-in-law, Tim Seaver.

A private family service will be held with interment at Lakeshore cemetery.
