Shawn Lucas Strickland, 25, of Smackover, Arkansas, passed away on April 10, 2021 at Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born on July 18, 1995 in Warren, Arkansas.

Shawn was a Process Operator for Delek Oil Refinery. He was a member of One Community Church in El Dorado and was a member of the El Dorado Masonic Lodge. Shawn enjoyed hunting and was a noted grill master. Shawn was an Old Soul with a strong work ethic and great sense of humor, a true gentleman who loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Merle Strickland; and his maternal grandmother, Patricia Myane Davis.

Shawn is survived by his parents, Brian Keith Strickland and Deborah Davis-Strickland; his wife, Lindsey Riggs-Strickland; his daughter, Kinleigh Grace Strickland of Smackover; his brother, Seth Logan Strickland; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Strickland; parents-in-law, Janice Riggs and Bill Riggs; his sister-in-law, Ashleigh Phillips (Jason); and his grandparents-in-law, Marilyn Riggs and Deanna Mew (Danny).

The funeral services will be held at One Community Church with Pastor Jason Yarbrough officiating. The burial services will follow at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers are Shawn Hodges, John Rego, Justin Rogers, Austin Posey, Schuyler Murph, and Hunter Gardner. Steve McDonald and Chris Mullins are honorary pallbearers.
