Mrs. Ray Muir
Mrs. Ella V. Muir, 91, formerly of Ligonier RD 1, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1990, in Bethlen Home, Ligonier Township. She was born Aug. 14, 1898, in Fairfield Township, a daughter of the late Jonas and Mary Campbell Clark. She was a member of Fort Palmer United Presbyterian Church of Fairfield Township.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Muir, Nov. 22, 1973; three brothers, John Lloyd, Paul and Robert Clark, and five sisters, Janet Egner, Mary Ray, Blanche Crosby, Ruth Riffle and June Kissell.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Dorothy) Dolinich of Ligonier RD 1; two sons, Carl of Midsprings, Va., and Earl Muir of Ligonier RD 5; three brothers, Ford Clark of Waterford, Luther Clark of Ligonier and James DeWitt of Laughlintown; four sisters, Irene Ambrose, Mrs. John (Grace) Ambrose and Edith Orme, all of Ligonier RD 1, and Frances Clark of Ligonier; several grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in McCabe Funeral Home, 244 W. Main St., Ligonier. Service wil be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Fort Palmer United Presbyterian Church, Route 711, Fairfield Township. The Rev. C. Franklin Helt will officiate. Interment will be in Ligonier Valley Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Fort Palmer United Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
