It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Boutin French of Alvin, Texas who passed away April 6, 2021 at the age of 84.

He was born in Elm Springs, Arkansas and was preceded in death by his son, Darryl Glynn French, his parents, Walter Francis French and Catherine Elizabeth French, one sister. Betty Kaye Overstreet and four brothers, Walter French, Dave French. Bert French and Larry French.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, MaeDell (Martin) French, two sons, Jimmy L. French (Maria) and Thomas W. French (Jufang Li), six grandchildren, Kenneth French (Stephanie), Derek French (Lauren), Kortnei French, Nikolas French, Stephanie French and Sam French; one great grandson, seven great granddaughters, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He enlisted in the US Air Force at the age of 18 and retired after serving 20 years. He then worked as a truck driver, retiring from that in 2003.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Alvin, Texas, St. Cloud Lodge No.221, A.F. & A.M., St. Cloud, Florida, Alvin Lodge No.762, A. F. & A.M., Alvin, Texas, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Winter Park, Florida, and Alvin Chapter No. 15, Order of the Eastern Star, Alvin, Texas.

Memorial services will be announced.
