Betty Lue Dees Parmer, 84, a resident of Omaha, died Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri.

She was born January 20, 1937, at Bergman to James William and Minnie Mary Binkley Dees. She married Ray Dean Parmer on January 24, 1981, at the White Oak Church of God in Bergman. She worked for many years caring for the elderly and shut in. She was a faithful member of Capps Full Gospel Church and enjoyed working in her yard, fishing, horses, Gospel music and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Ray Dean Parmer of Omaha; numerous nephews and nieces; and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Capps Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Eddie Reed officiating. Burial will be in Keesee Cemetery at Monarch in Marion County under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Steve, Randy, Michael, Chad and Christopher Dees, and Kenny, Michael and Johnny McKinley. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Murphy, Rick Carter, John King, Fred Fredlund, the staff of Cox Medical Center in Branson and the members of Capps Full Gospel Church.

Memorials may be made in memory of Betty Lue to Holt Memorial Chapel, 1904 Capps Road, Harrison, Arkansas 72601 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
