BRADY, Shane - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the age of 67. Loving father of Tawnya Brady (Blaine Smith), Natasha Montemurro (Sean) and Zachary Brady (Brittany Carisse). Cherished Papa of Ayrah Smith, Nataya Smith, Elias Smith, Camilla Montemurro and Giancarlo Montemurro. Dear brother of Dan Brady (Helen), Reg Brady (Linda Roy), Barb Downey (Larry), Robin Haworth (Richard) and Heather Brady. Predeceased by his brother Brian Brady and his parents Earl and Ethel Brady. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Shane was very proud of his career as a crane operator, a job that he loved and performed 'with the precision of a brain surgeon.' His greatest accomplishment in life however was watching the success and achievements of his children and grandchildren. Shane loved sports, especially the Toronto Blue Jays and was a passionate reader of the Toronto Sun. Shane's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring and compassionate staff in Palliative Care at St. Catharines General Hospital. Respecting the government restrictions of COVID-19, including the requirement of pre-booked appointments (by calling 905-358-3513 between 9 am and 5 pm), friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls visiting Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 1 to 2 pm. A private Funeral Service in celebration of his life will take place at the funeral home, with cremation to follow.
