Deputy Christopher Knight worked at the Bibb County jail since he joined the Sheriff's Department in 2018. He was killed by an inmate at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
He is survived by his 2-year-old child and his mother.
A public viewing was held on April 12, 2021 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life was held April 13, 2021 at 2:00PM at Macon City Auditorium. Reverend David L. Stanley officiated.
Interment Services followed at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
