Matt was born March 30, 1982 to David Conrad Montgomery and Velma Argyle Montgomery in Ogden, UT. He is the baby of the five kids and took the role seriously. He is a sweet son to his mother and father and his siblings liked him.
Matt is a loving father to his children Sam, Tyler, and Lucy who enriched his life, with Lucy being the obvious favorite. Their family time together was a cherished priority. His children have inherited a love for adventure, a drive to make the most of what we have, and determination to persevere through challenges.
Matt learned to fix about anything from his father David and older brother Dany. In Montgomery tradition, he always drove a Jeep Cherokee except for a short stent with a Hummer. He worked for Davis County School District for the past 21 years.
Pondering and researching the mysteries of the universe, he fancied himself a bit of an expert on the weird and strange. He always enjoyed a good SiFi movie with others.
Matt loves to joke around and give people a hard time to make them laugh. He can make anything that much more fun. Matt has a big kind heart and gives the world's greatest hugs. While his passing has brought tears, his life brought smiles and his memory laughter.
Interment, West Point Cemetery.
