Early Monday, September 3, Clint W. Johnson suffered a massive heart attack and was life flighted to the EIRMC hospital in Idaho Falls. during the week he suffered two strokes and at age 64 passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2007 surrounded by his family. He was born on June 9, 1943 in Afton to Ervon and Eva Johnson.
He spent most of his life living in Auburn where he enjoyed many long days on the farm. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, his children and especially his grandchildren.
He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and had a strong testimony of the gospel. He held various callings in the church throughout his life.
Clint has had many jobs in his life. They included hauling mild, with old fashion milk cans, working at the cheese factory, Tenapah; riding the range, and working as flagger for Quality Traffic Control. But the job he enjoyed the most was farming.
Clint enjoyed vising with others and no one was a stranger to him. When there was someone in need, Clint was always the first one there to help.
He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, a nephew, his father and mother-in-law and many other loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; his five children; twelve grandchildren, his mother, Eva and two brothers.
His funeral was held on Wednesday, September 12, 2007. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
