Mrs. Mae Ethel Jones of Vacaville, CA passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base. She was born on August 24, 1939 in Canton, Mississippi to Mr. Leotha Hudson and Mrs. Ethel Mae Hudson. She was the oldest of four children, Leotha Jr., Clifton Earl.
She was a proud graduate and active alumna of Oak Park High School in Laurel, MS. She served as the Chairperson of the Mothers Ministry, member of the usher board and a Deaconess at Shiloh Baptist Church, Vacaville, CA.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Albert Lee Jones, of 61.5 years, her children, Sherry E. Jones, Carla D. Jones, Alan L. Jones and her beloved grandson, Nicholas A. Jenkins and her great-grandson and the apple of her eye, Jalen A. Jenkins, her sister Ella Mae Parks (Charles), a host of beloved nieces and nephews, and her church family at Shiloh Baptist Church. She lived her life serving God and guided her family & friends to do the same.
A Memorial Visitation Service for OUR beloved Mrs. Mae E. Jones will take place at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home located at 1850 W Texas Street, Fairfield, CA on Thursday, April 15 from 11 am – 1 pm. The Jones family welcomes your participation. A private funeral ceremony will take place.
