Roberta "Birdie" Lee White, 55, of Fairmont went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 8, 2018. She was born in Fairmont on November 03, 1962, a daughter of Donald and Dorothy (White) Rodetsky.
Roberta loved to cook, and she was a gifted gardener with a green thumb. She adored her family and joined them on four wheeling and whitewater rafting trips. She attended Covenant Church.
She is survived by a son, Robert Nichols and his Fiancée Mary Rose Dimmey, of St. Clairsville, Ohio; a daughter, Alicia Riggs and her Fiancé Brian Orr, of Montana Mines; one brother, Harry "Hank" White and his wife Peachy, of Fairmont; three sisters, Tammy Hicks and her husband Matthew, of Michigan, Cindy Herbert and her Fiancé Joseph "Rick" Perkins , of Fairmont, and Susan Nuzum and her husband Anthony, of Fairmont; four grandchildren, Aubrianna Orr, Gabriella Orr, Bridget Nichols, and Richard Nichols; a special friend, Paul Hunt, of Fairmont; and several nieces and nephews.
Roberta was preceded in death by her father, Harry "Goozle" White.
In keeping with Birdie's wishes, her body will be cremated.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Covenant Church, 17 Everlasting Drive, Fairmont, on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Roy Weese officiating.
