DAVID WAYNE SCHILLING, age 65, of Washington CH, formerly of Millersport, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at his home. He was born on April 12, 1955 in Ross County to Edward Preston and Anna Isabella (Havens) Schilling. He was a graduate of Millersport High School. David proudly served his country in the US Army and was also involved in the NATO Brigade. After leaving the military, David worked as a self-employed carpenter for many years. He had attended the Millersport Covenant Church. He enjoyed watching old western movies and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

David was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Larry (Suzanne) Schilling, and Sam Schilling. Survivors include his daughter, Courtney Jannelle Schilling and her fiancé, Lane Bender of California; siblings, Mary Schilling Clarridge, and Robert (Mary) Schilling; great aunts and uncles, Carolyn (Max) Forsythe, Barbara Riggs, Diana (Roger) Satchell, and Robert L. (Joan) Havens. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be held at the Millersport Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Summers Funeral Home, Summers Funeral Home, 223 W. Market St., Washington CH, OH.
